Guinness "Paint The Town Black"

Daniel Wolfe & Dominic Leung have teamed up once again, this time to tackle the rich legacy of Guinness ads. This "Wolfian" update was filmed on location in Transylvania with a cast of 350 locals and 2000kg of black goo. Beautifully shot by by AndrĂ© Chemetoff and energetically soundtracked by Fanfare Ciocarlia, the film tells the story of a town that paints itself black in celebration of Arthur's Day. Here we proudly present the directors cut.

Cobra 'Train'

Director Daniel Wolfe has once again delivered a visually stunning commercial, this time round for Cobra. It's filled to the brim with an eclectic mix of characters from hipsters to gurus, (all street cast of course), getting crunked up on a train journey. We think it's a beautifully crafted spot, effortlessly pieced together by Tom Lindsay. Plus it makes us thirsty and gives our shoulders a work out to the brilliantly original track, what more do you want?

The Vaccines

Bob Harlow's latest video for The Vaccines 'Norgaard' is a short and sweet slice of careless fun, made increasingly watchable due to the sexy model and of course Tom Lindsay's magic gold cutting fingers. He should really get those insured.

100 Days of Rendering

Imagine making a salad without actually cutting any vegetables. So maybe you have to do a bit of flattening, mushing and careful arrangement to pass it off as a salad. That's my bad analogy for Dominic Leung's complex handiwork for Kim Gehrig's luscious New Look ad. With no apparent cuts, the 'camera' seamlessly pans across 30 layers of HD footage, creating a canvas of summertime girliness. Very impressive.

Pulse Of The City

Range Rover have launched a Pulse of The City project to launch their new Evoque. The project involves an iphone app (of course) that maps out your personal journey through the city, leaving you dumbfounded at the highly unexcitable generated image. The ad however is exciting. Directed by Bob Harlow, edited by Dominic Leung and shot by Steve Annis, the spot's rhythmic tempo, colourful characters and sharp sounds evoke the feel of each city beautifully. Yeeha!

Made of Meaner Stuff

Cars made out of cakes, sweets, chocolates and meringues....eurgh, how pathetic. A car constructed from snake venom, crossbows, bones, skid marks and the tooth indentations of a fat skin head is way cooler!

The new Skoda Fabia ad created by Fallon, directed by Nick Gordon of Somesuch & Co and edited by Trim's Dominic Leung is a hardcore head thrashing 'piss off you pansy bakers' commercial and we love it! Plus it was great fun having the Somesuch gang in the Trim house!
